RELATE (Relationships to Enhance Learners' Adjustment to Transitions and Engagement)
This project will iteratively develop and pilot a brief professional development training (EMR) to enhance teachers' skills in establishing, maintaining, and restoring relationships with high school students, particularly those from marginalized racial/ethnic groups.
Analyzing results and disseminating findings from a six-school randomized control trial of an equity-explicit version of EMR for ninth grade teachers. (Funded by IES R305A170458)
DDAS (Disproportionality in Discipline Assessment for Schools)
This project aims to develop an assessment-as-intervention process for schools to examine their current practices that contribute to discipline disproportionality and select contextually-relevent evidence-based practices to reduce disproportionality.
